Teatro Pomodoro will be running a Trance Mask workshop the 17th of June as part of Physical Fest workshops.

Physical Fest is taking a break this year, but you can still get your workshop fix with this series of Sunday’s in June! £30/25 for one day, £50 for two days, £70 for ALL 3 DAYS!

 Physical theatre & the Playful performer- Tmesis Theatre- Sunday 10th June

A day exploring physical devising techniques, tools to use the body more expressively, working as an ensemble and opening up the playful performer in you.

Tmesis Theatre create, develop and share physical theatre through national touring productions, participation and their international festival of physical theatre- Physical Fest.

Trance Masks- Simone Tani-  Sunday 17th June

A one day workshop to explore a technique that focuses on the most playful and instinctive aspects of performing. Masks help us to release the pressure to “create” as we let the mask lead us to discover movement, posture and voice.Simone Tani is a co-founder of award-winning Teatro Pomodoro and has taught masks at University of Chester, Edge Hill University, LIPA and National Taiwan University of Arts.

Improvisation for Performers -Impropriety Sunday 24th June

A day of exploring the techniques of Improvisation to enhance your skills as a performer. We will explore quick thinking, character, scene work and narrative both in Improv and and it’s applications in wider performance. This fun and relaxed workshop is a great opportunity for experienced performers who want to expand their current skill set to include Improvisation.Impropriety are Liverpool’s premier Improvisation Theatre Company,  best known for the Liverpool 33.5hr Annual Improvathon, now in it’s 9th year.
